This is Islam: for beginners

islam-is-not-the-enemyI am sure, people who hate Islam and Muslims do not understand Islam correctly. As a Muslim, I am obliged to explain about Islam according to my understanding of this religion. Hatred and hostility towards Islam and Muslims are generally caused by ignorance and misunderstanding about Islam.

For that I wrote about the basic teachings of Islam in the Category of "Islam for Beginner" on this site in the hope that we can understand Islam correctly.

Unfortunately, I do not write in English fluently, but you want to know and learn Islam can request the help of Google Translate to translate it into English and other languages.

I confirm to anyone who sees Islam and Muslims as "enemies", that Islam is not the enemy, does not teach violence, and terrorism, and we (Muslims) love peace.

Islam forbids Muslims to destroy. Even when at war, Islam prohibits Muslim armies to destroy houses of worship, trees, buildings, also banned for killing women, children and old people who are not armed. Besides, Muslims are allowed only to war, took up arms, only if they are attacked.

In Islam, fighting should be directed only against fighting troops, and not to non- fighting personnel, and this is in compliance with the Qur’anic verse that reads:

“ Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not, aggressors.” (Al-Baqarah: 190).

Check out this Abu-Bakr's instructions to Usama's Campaign on Syria:

“Do not betray or be treacherous or vindictive. Do not mutilate. Do not kill the children, the aged or the women. Do not cut or bum palm trees or fruitful trees. Don’t slay a sheep, a cow or camel except for your food. And you will come across people who confined themselves to worship in hermitages, leave them alone to what they devoted themselves for.”

Let's heal the world. Make it a better place. Make this earth as a quiet, comfortable and peaceful place for us to live, and we respect each other and share. Wallahu a’lam. (ASM. Romli, Zonaislam’s Admin).*
